Clearcoat does a poor job of sticking to anything other than basecoat. Basecoat likes to stick to primer. Primer does a good job of sticking to roughed up metal. All this to say, there isn't really a good clearcoat that sticks to polished metals. This is a beautiful plane. I bet it's an absolute rocketship that passes everything except a fuel stop

Unbelievable !! I have a polish sportsman leading edge on my 182 and that all I can handle! Would be an honor to own such a piece of history, you just can't go polish any Bonanza you wanted to no matter what your resources.

Does you have a PDF of Flight Manual Supplements for STC SA2200SW for the Io 520 Engine? I have a 53 D35 with The STC SA2200Sw and we have a 337 for the install/authorization. We do not have the supplement from D'Shannon. If you happen to have it, I would be interested in obtaining a copy.
Your plane is a Beauty by the way!
