Sounds like it’s improperly prompting a go around. You can put an SD card in one of the G5’s and it should record the messages in and out of your GFC500. The avionics shop that did the installation can look at it or he can send the data card to Garmin for analysis.

Airplane lists on Controller and Trade-A-Plane this week.

After Flying it a little bit we changed out the 275 for a G5. The 275 just didn't play well with the G3X and autopilot. The G5 gives the install more functionality as a backup than the 275 did.

I was looking at that and was curious. Our B36TC has a G3X and 275 just like that. The 275 is isolated from the G3X and the garmin autopilot.

Ours has a JPI-930 for an engine monitor but I also fly a Bonanza with the monitor built into the G3X and I find it adequate. It is nice to see ultra functional panels without a bunch of added clutter. Great job

You are correct the 275 is isolated from the Autopilot. After flying the plane for a bit because of that we felt that the 275 didn't provide enough backup options in the event of a G3X failure. As such we removed the 275 and replaced it with a G5 which is tied to the autopilot and in the event of a G3X failure still allows the autopilot to work.
