The aircraft will need our DAR to issue a special flight permit to relocate it to your maintenance base, this is included in the $145k asking price. We will do a power assurance check, and assist at a basic level to get it away. You will need a new battery, so factor that in. We would like to deal with someone who will come and look at the aircraft in person. Priority will be given to those who can travel, send a representative or buy sight unseen.

Contact us initially via WhatsApp or iMessage at +353 87 2218706 and we will supply further and better particulars. That's an Irish mobile number. You could also use this format - 00353 87 2218706 as this seemed to cause some confusion on the last aeroplane we listed!

OK Beechtalk Braintrust - help me out.

How fast , what altitude, and at what fuel flow does it cruise? What is reasonable VFR range at that speed, altitude, fuel flow?

How scary is an A model to maintain these days? Still subject to the 6 year gear inspection?

I have never really considered a King Air before but curiosity is killing me.

Zeke

I notice the passengers in the back are wearing headsets. Are they necessary?

How scary is an A model to maintain these days? Still subject to the 6 year gear inspection? Not scary except for the availability of a supercharger if/when it quits. Yes, six year gear, etc., is mandatory.

Thank you Tom.

That speed/fuel flow combo is a little too low for me. That NMPG is worse than our L-39 with the Garret engine. Your comments have saved me from myself…

Z.

Is that an inspection or an overhaul?

Inspections are mandatory, overhauls are not (for part 91).

PT6A-20 Engines - all the specs of an A90 are on the drop-down menu here - https://kingairnation.com/king-air-specs/king-air-90/

The aircraft would cruise at 205Ktas at FL150. It had the 6-year inspection done at the last maintenance.

I had a B90 for over a year or so. It was a great airplane and flew very well. If you're a piston twin driver looking to sample the turbine fire water then this could be a great solution. I was seeing about 200 kts on 55GPH around 18k. There is still ample superchargers around, I know there is 1 or 2 outfits in Canada that have parted alot of -20 airplanes out. Also I think King air Nation has a couple of them.
