Raj, I tended to stay below FL200 most of the time, so at let's say 17500ft she'll do a honest 245-250KTAS at 64gal/hr total. You might be able to eke out a touch more above FL200.

Those are lower HP and lower TBO Pre-Century engines that are not supported very well.

Yeah, they're no-HSI, 2000hr engines. Perfect for an experimental, but not ideal when they came on the early Commanders. Still, a cracking deal for the right experimental or even the right Commander for a budget owner.

Are my calculations correct that the full fuel payload is 511 pounds? When are hot section inspections due?

Empty weight is 6608 right now (it's probably closer to 6500lbs in a new W&B as I've since switched to Concorde and a few other things in interior have lightened up). Max ramp is 9450lbs and 9400lbs MTOW. 337gal of fuel makes useful load 534lbs (or 584lbs if you use max ramp - as she'll burn those 50 before you get to threshold).

Don't have the exakt engine numbers in front of me, but the hots are due in about 400hrs.

Zack,

I see that Adam posted above as well. There's a very minor difference between his calculations and mine. According to my calculations, the empty weight is 6614 pounds. This is because the last W&B form shows 6608.6 and then it added in an additional 5.24 pounds for the Aerodyne Winglets (which weren't previously taken into account in earlier W&B calculations apparently). Thus, the empty weight is 6613.84 although I rounded up to 6614 in my spec sheet. As a result, the full fuel payload is 505 pounds. Obviously you may not always need full fuel and can trade fuel for people/baggage.

With respect to the hot sections, they are due every 1800 hours and were last performed 1483 hours ago and as a result, they are due in 317 hours.

She comes off market on 1st of June.

Me and Neal knew this was a plane that needed the right buyer and would take some time to sell, but a little surprised she's lasted this long. The plan was kinda to get a higher time steam gauge Aerostar 601P for about $150K down the road after this. But looking, the 601P's now are all way up above $250K, often with mid- to high time engines, old panels etc, which begs the question: what's the point in just trading money? This is a much more capable plane in every metric.

Looks great. I am not in the market, but wondering how much runway she requires.

She's off in about 2000-2500ft on a California warm day with full fuel and 2 people. Used to go into Corona (KAJO) all the time and that's 3200ft rwy.

Adam, I noticed the redline is 220. So, what is indicated airspeed at 17-20k ft?
