For Sale: Well cared for M-Model short body. Speed without the Solitaire price tag! I just finished a 100/200/600 hour (1/2/3 year) inspection. 290 knots all day. Here's the latest status sheet attached. No Damage history. Panel includes G600 and twin 430Ws, with stormscope, built in radar, twin garmin transponders with ADS-b Out, and an Avidyne MFD. The JetShades are a lifesaver. Also comes with a large steel tow bar, two Battery Minders, backup parts, etc. Equipment changes since purchasing = Added GDL52 for traffic/weather/xm on ipad/tablet. Garmin 345 audio panel with bluetooth, added in 2 sets of USB ports (1 cockpit, 1 cabin), stereo headset wiring x6 places. New carpet 2021. New paint 2019 (Ranger). Just got finished the hot section on the right engine. Left engine is 343 hours since HSI. Absolutely love this tank of an airplane, best one I've ever owned. But business is good and I bought a citation and my company pays for the plane and fuel now. There's a lot to like about the M model. It has most of the benefits of the later models (6 PSI cabin, FL280 ceiling, higher gross weight) with none of the negatives (expensive glass windshield, expensive 4 blade props, stupid oil cooler boots that break, heavier empty weight). And there's no recurring AD inspections on these 3 blade props, like the 4-blades have. Let me know any other questions you may have! It's currently sitting inside Chuck's shop in Dickson, TN (M02) (World famous MU-2 mechanic). If I read the spec sheet correctly, the engines are past TBO?

That's correct! Both were just hot sectioned, so you won't have to do anything to the engines for most likely 12 or 15 years. Throw it away at that point or put some other engines on it. We'll probably be forced to be using electric airplanes at that point anyway.

The 3 blade that doesn't require the inspections the others do.

Ah, yes the 4 blade props on the nwere models have an AD that requires inspections every 5 years, with an AMOC that extends that to 7 years. The 3 blades have no AD that I am aware of. You can go 10+ years between overhauls if you like (and I did, no issues). My prop overhauls were like $7500 for the pair. The cost of the 4 blade overhauls can be eye watering because the blades are often undersized from all the gratuitous overhauling the AD causes. There's a lot to like about the M model. It has most of the benefits of the later models (6 PSI cabin, FL280 ceiling, higher gross weight) with none of the negatives (expensive glass windshield, expensive 4 blade props, stupid oil cooler boots that break, heavier empty weight).
