Aircraft located at KVGT, North Las Vegas Airport, NV.

It was involved in a left main gear collapse. I purchased the salvage for one of the engines. Pretty much everything else is still available. I have the panel and instruments dismantled and on the shelf. No avionics available. Damage isolated to the left side. Damage to left wing, left flap, and main gear.

I will part out pieces and ship the pieces you need. Let me know what you need.

I also have 2 Hartzel 3 blade props (one good, one prop strike), and IO470L (not from this airframe). All sold separately. See separate post.

Joe,
Do you have the original magnesium elevator horns or the newer ones?

All 4 fiberglass engine cowl fairings available? Are they in good condition?

Thomas,

It has the aluminum (newer) elevator horns, and the cowls are not damaged and in good condition. I won't part just pieces of the cowling, but I will sell the whole cowling.

Any idea if most of the airframe parts on the A55 are interchangeable with parts on a B55?

Yes they are pretty much all interchangeable. It is the exact same type certificate and IPC. This airframe is TC-356. As the B55s got higher up the serial numbers they changed small things like wingtips and 5th seat design, etc...But IRT airframe, it is identical.

Of course, I don't pretend to be a Beech expert, so if I said something incorrect, please chime in.

Always double check with the IPC. There are many minor variances that could impact applicability.

The only motor remaining is $9K OBO. It's in a separate add.....or do you mean those sexy powerful 55 gal drums? I'll include those with the purchase :D

Joe,
I am interested in the elevators.
Please let me know if they are magnesium or aluminum, the condition and how much you want for them.
I can add them to the check that’s going out to you on Monday .
You can text me but I am going to be in the sir for a few hours today so won’t be able to answer most likely until I get back to KOMN this evening.

Thanks, Frank

Joe,

Does this airplane have a landing gear selector cover? That's the hinged doodad that covers the landing gear selector/wheel to (hopefully) prevent a gear retraction on the ground.

If you have one, I'd sure like to grab it. New they're beaucoup dollah, G.I.

Please shoot me a PM if you have one.

Mike,

Unfortunately it doesn't. When I use to use Baron's in my flight school, I would give students the 'ole Karate Chop the the right wrist when they would reach for the gear handle on the ground. While not the most popular it is an effective technique. The permanent right wrist pain reminds them to never reach for switches on the runway. :D

This Baron by the way was never in my school. I bought it from another school after it met it's retirement injury on the runway.

Cheers
Joe

Sorry I am late responding. Yes we have those, do you just need the lights or do you need the detector circuit (I can't remember the exact name) as well?

Make me an offer.

Cheers
Joe
