Aircraft: 1950 B35 Bonanza
The straight 35 time machine (project) is now in the Branson MO area with the wings removed and ready for pickup/delivery. See link. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=219024&hilit=time+machine
Photos are still available at the auction web site-follow link in the BT post.
(edit) This aircraft had the wings removed and was transported from Washington state to the Branson MO area to save another early model Bonanza from the aircraft bone yard. PM me if you would like a breakdown of the cost to relocate the plane.

$20,000 selling price
airframe log book since new (only takes one log book)
Engine log book
1984 last annual
1789 airframe hours
353 smoh
1580 lbs. empty weight
980 lbs useful load
no spar mod
no aux tank
no annual

At present we have sourced a spar mod kit (edit) the source is working on pricing the kit. The kit is not in our possession. Aircraft is ready for pickup or we deliver for additional cost which will be determined by the delivery distance from Branson MO. PM me with requests for additional information and/or to make an offer.

Stan

I have been looking for a straight 35 for several years that has not suffered greatly from a long string of well meaning owners. Most folks want the speed slope windshield and a different panel and later model interiors, hydraulic prop etc, etc. I prefer the "survivor" style.
I am happy to say that Mr Weeks will be delivering my new project in the next couple of weeks and I will begin the long tedious process once again.
My plans include the installation of a completely uncut original panel and gauges that I sourced from fellow Beechtalker, Dan Towery recently. The interior will be gutted and thoroughly cleaned up. I may choose to leave the current paint (great patina) if there is any evidence of hail damage otherwise I will strip it, polish it, paint it with the original color trim.
The wonderfully lightweight front seat will be recovered in the original material and the original headliner will be cleaned and reused if possible. I plan to leave the rear seat out of airplane and refinish new floorboards in a beautiful wood veneer. New sidewalls and rear cabin bulkhead will be fabricated and finished to compliment the original style seat upholstery.
The reason this project caught my interest is the incredibly low total air frame time. Certainly one of the lowest of any Bonanza in recent memory. The history of ownership in arid environments, complete log books, the lack of an auxiliary fuel tank in the cabin and the wonderful Beech 88 inch electric prop sealed the deal.
It will be a challenging project but I feel like the airplane has great bones and deserves a better fate than a parts donor.
I plan on taking a lot of pictures documenting the progress and sharing them here.
Wish me Luck!
