SOLD:Very strong, smooth running and fast Twin Bonanza. Tremendous range on 180 gallons. Family member medical issue and loss of hangar has forced a premature sale after just 15 months of ownership. This was our second Twin Bonanza, with 10 years experience with our other T-bone, N28EC has been operated correctly. Make a reasonable offer and its yours. This aircraft was owned for years by a well known and respected owner/IA/ CFII/ aeronautical engineer. This aircraft was recently featured in the December 2022 issue of EAA Sport Flying Magazine. N28EC is one of the most well known, top T-bone restorations. The Twin Bonanza is a tremendous value, with King Air room. The Twin Bonanza community featured here on BT is a tight knit group of owners with a wealth of knowledge in the care and operation of this remarkable, strong classic. They always help first time owners with all the information on parts and operation on BT and one other internet site. N28EC is very smooth and quiet in cruise with fuel burns in the 24-28 gph. Its features include new carpet, comfortable leather seats, Rosen sun visors, a newly restored airstair door, front seat shoulder harnesses, Michelin tires and two brand new Concord RG-35 AXC sealed batteries. A fresh annual inspection was completed in March 2023. A brand new new Aspen EFD 1000 E5 was installed that works with an Avidyne IFD 540. A tune up of its Century IIB was completed last week at Executive Autopilots at KSAC. It now tracks flawlessly the Avidyne/ Aspen pairing. Airframe TT: 8228.3 ( logs back to 1979). Speed Slope windshield. LED lights L. eng. 867.3 R. eng. 1386.2 McCauley Props: No AD’s, 342.1, 500 since new Restored prop anti-ice system Avionics: Brand new Aspen EFD 1000 E5 with most recent software upgrades. Wind vector software kit just installed. Aspen system is backed up by vacuum system which was purposely left intact. Avidyne IFD 540 FMS. King KX-165 Century IIB Autopilot. All cable tensions and start voltages recently adjusted to spec by Execap. Works perfectly. Stratus Transponder Blue Tooth Fuel totalizer Exterior 10/10. Beautiful custom paint job. Interior 7/10, new carpet, all new cables and vinyl and anti-slip on airstair door. Fresh annual. Oil filters cut open, no metal. Oil consumption normal both engines Price: With the recent new Aspen installation carpet and door refurbishment, recent annual, we have $160K invested. Nice looking plane available for a pittance.
Can someone who has owned a TB comment on the accessibility of entry with the airstair door?
i.e. Elderly grandmother or stroke victim with limited mobility. Assume they are able to climb/descend house stairs with a good handrail and 3rd party assistance.
How difficult and safe would it be to get them into a twin Bo?
Thanks
Edited for clarity

Edited for clarity It would be hard, but better than just about any GA airplane. The airstair has a handrail. Aside from those airplanes whose seats are low enough that she could just plop her butt onto a seat, this is about as good as it gets. I bought mine for accessibility for my disabled daughter, who has to be lifted (90 lbs) into the airplane and into her seat. None of the “climb onto the wing and then drop into the door” fleet would do. A36 Bonanzas and B58 Barons would be easier, because they’re lower, but then there’s that 42” wide cabin to put up with for hours. That’s the most important thing to remember about the TwinBo: it’s not a typical tiny GA cabin. It’s as wide as a King Air.

I didn’t realize they were that wide but to be fair I can’t say I’ve ever seen a tbone in person
For the mobility thing I would think a c177 would be as good as it gets with maybe a small kitchen step to stand in and sit in the seat

Todd. The D50C was the first year with the factory installed air stair door and six seats-three rows of two. The picture attached shows the sixth seat uninstalled. It comes with the airplane and is of the same quality. The D50 series is operated by most owners at 65% power which gives 160-165 knts on 24 to 28 gph. The T-bone has tremendous range with 180 gallons of fuel. with a 54” wide cabin lots of leg room and has space behind the left rear eat for a portable boat biff. I owned two Barons which I loved but my wife not so much. She loved the Twin Bonanza.
