Ever since I moved up to Washington, I’m not flying much, so it’s time to sell N51EL, a 1981 602P/700. It’s an impressive machine, gets book numbers, is FIKI, and has most of the upgrades including aux fuel, though not the 5.5 pressurization. Hangared most of its life, though it’s been on the ramp for the past year or so. Annual is good through Jan 31 2024. Freshly overhauled mags, new fuel pump, and lots of other recent maintenance to view in the logbooks. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... rXp8eXhr2gThere are two issues with the plane: 1) we discovered a crack in the engine-driven air conditioning housing, so air conditioning is currently inop until that’s repaired or replaced. 2) Since the annual, the HSI has been inop. I’m guessing it’s a bad wire to the magnetometer, but haven’t been able to spend the time or find someone to track it down. Curious this is not mentioned. Even tried to go the the shop in Utah to have a first hand look and have a pre-buy, but received no call back. Puzzling indeed. I have owned 4 other Aerostars and they are "FANTASTIC" aircraft.,
