Selling my 1978 Cessna 340A. https://www.controller.com/listing/for-sale/219429499/1978-cessna-340a-piston-twin-aircraft

It has been great for family trips. We use it as the family hauler usually removing 3 seats to fit the 3 of us, 2 big dogs mountain bikes and snowboards. We have been all over the country with it, and the family loved it. Doesn’t need anything. The only reason I’m selling is because my wife has said I can buy something that burns more gas. So not going to argue with that. The controller ad gives all the details. But here is a teaser picture.

$190k.

Good looking 340.

What is TBO on those engines?

Has this plane ever been a foreign registered aircraft?
Any Damage history?
Any missing logs?

Full logs back to day 1. No damage history. TBO is 1600. The cylinders were replaced about 450hrs ago due to the ECI cylinder AD. Good compressions borescope clean. Which would be expected with newer cylinders. Doesn’t use oil oil analysis has been stable and good. I would t touch these engines, no reason to.

Standard question….. it burns 31-32gph. That gives 185kts down low working up to 205ktas at fl220. Haven’t been higher. Never had a reason. I usually fly in the mid teens.

I've flown in this airplane, it's very nice and a good value.

Back to the Future? 19788 model Cessna. I was hoping for something a little sportier, faster and fuel efficient by then.
