I've tried three different browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox) and the Controller.com website won't let me in without changing my settings. What a brilliant move on their part. They pretty much own the market on listing an airplane, but now choose to shoot themselves in the foot by doing making it more difficult to get to their site. Unless they change this, someone else will use this as an opportunity to get a foothold in the business of listing airplanes.

I had no difficulty getting into the site, same as always. Not sure I agree with them pretty much owning the market on listing an airplane, though. They have the dealer network zipped up pretty well but private owners seem much more likely to list their airplanes on Trade-a-Plane or Barnstormers.

Your IP address might have been blacklisted by Controller. Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc... will all hit Controller with the same IP address.
Try going to Controller using a computer that is not on the same IP address / same wi-fi, or turn off wi-fi on your cell phone and try going to Controller via a cellular network.

See if its limited to Controller or if there are a bunch of sites you can't access.

Do you have a screenshot of the error if you get one? Can you look at your add/remove programs and see what the latest installed software is. Browser bars, free plugins, and other apps can cause issues.
Typically if malware or bad browser extensions get installed, it can adversely affect the ability to access websites. Look at your Add/Remove programs to see what was recently installed. Generally anything with the word Free isn’t really free.
I believe that if you uninstall Firefox and reinstall it the extensions have to be reinstalled and won’t work immediately. I use Microsoft Edge (Developer, normal, and Canary) and Firefox.
However, this doesn’t necessarily sound like a browser problem but something affecting the PC or IP address. I have never heard of Controller blocking Ip addresses or CIDR blocks (bunch of IP addresses usually associated with a specific internet provider or a country).
It’s rare but sometimes these pieces of software hijack the DNS lookup, breaking your inability to get to some sites.
If you are using a VPN others use these for nefarious activity and sometimes the zip gets blocked. If your phone isn’t on your WiFi, try reaching the site. Your phone will be using an IP address (like a phone number for the internet) than the IP address associated with your home.
See if you can get to Trade A Plane or ASO. Controller has a good site and a decent app but it doesn’t have a lock on the market.

I’ve been having trouble getting to Controller using Safari and an iPad. Other sites kick me out, too with a generic message telling me I need to update my browser.
Controller flashes like it will load, then doesn’t.
Been happening for months.
I don’t have the same problem in the iPhone using Brave.
No VPN. I hotspot the iPad off the iPhone.
I have little patience to play the tech game.

You get that on multiple browsers? Are they relatively recent?

A few things may cause this - an older iDevice with an older iOS version or an older device that is no longer supported and the last version of Safari is no longer supported. I have an iPad Mini 3 like this and cut the browser over to Firefox and stopped using Safari. I still use it for Netflix until they cut me off or the battery goes kaputz.
If there is not a software update (settings, general, software update) you may want to go into the App Store and download Firefox. I use Edge on my PC and Firefox or Safari on my iPhone and iPad. The kids have Chromebooks and iPads to use. Firefox has been pretty stable on my iFruits.
Good luck!
