Actually the entire wing kit is sold by American Champion, so both wings are replaced with new wings made of aluminum. The wings have new fabric, painted and ready to be installed on the aircraft. This eliminates the original wooden spar wings, which have the repetitive Airworthiness Directive to check the wooden spar for rot. All new American Champion aircraft are manufactured with these type wings.
