We pulled this from the market to complete a few more trips. After 35+ years owning her, it's time to find a new home.
IO550B Powered Beech J-35 Bonanza Serial #D-5399 with extensive V35 upgrades $135,000
TTAF - 6,063 On Feb. 10, 1990 a tornado struck the Bessemer, AL airport (KEKY) and D-5399 sustained not in motion damage when a part of the hangar fell. Rather than repair the wing, we replaced it and did repair work on the engine keel. My son and I have flown the airplane over thirty years since then and it trims out great.

Dad being a cheap retired airline pilot runs about 25 LOP. He’ll get 163 knots true at around 12-12.5 gph depending on altitude. It never crossed his mind to burn a bunch of fuel and go fast!

Username Protected wrote: Love it, What's your cruise speed with the light airframe and the 550? "Gross weight – 3,110 lbs Useful load – 866 lbs" That means empty weight = 2244 lbs. Similar to a V35-V35b, so performance will be similar at the same loading.
