Business Jet Consultants is offering N5153N a beautifully restored 1941 Boeing B75N1 for sale. This aircraft is based in Garden City Kansas GCK. This Aircraft was owned by a WW2 veteran pilot and now his family has decided to let it go to a new home.

N5153N Serial Number 75-2667 is a low time airplane with 3485 Total time and only 39 hours on a W670M (240HP) overhauled by Radial Engines Ltd. The propeller is a Hamilton 5006 resealed and inspected at the same time by aircraft accessories.

N5153N was restored by Big Sky Stearman in 2015. The aircraft was disassembled, media cleaned, and epoxy finished and rebuilt using all new hardware, cables etc. It has Redline brakes, new wings and center section and the 4 aileron STC modification which makes it a delight to fly. The airplane is covered in Poly Fiber with a Aerothane finish Glacier White and Santa Fe Red. Other STC’s are Bracket air filter, intake pipes modified for drains.

The empty weight after rebuild is 2182 CG +1.45

There is no indication in the aircraft log books that this airframe was ever a crop duster or damage.

N5153N has a fresh annual inspection 5/17/2022

N5153N has Factory air-conditioning. The cabin heating system doesn’t work well in the winter but works good in July.

N5153N has a single Garmin SL40 Nav/Com. No transponder or ADS-B

This an elegant and classy restoration. All the modifications are tasteful and complement the original design well. This must be one of the lowest time and cleanest airframes left. Take it to Oshkosh and bring home a trophy.
