Beech BE-60 Duke (B60 mods to 232 gallons/King Air Pressurization upgrade/E1C4 Eng)
N54DB SN: P-127

- Garmin 530W and 430W
- Carbide lifters both engines. Attaching Oil Sample Reports!
- Exceptionally clean magnesium surfaces
-New Paint and Interior Dec 2020
- Squawk free Duke with Decades of Maintenance History with same Duke Specialist since 1986!
-Bob Hoffman does my training and knows this airplane well

$185,000, price includes prebuy and fresh annual if you bring your mechanic to Best Aviation as the airplane is there undergoing annual and you can see anything you wish to see while it’s apart.

------------------------------------------------

This Duke has an exceptional maintenance history, having been maintained nearly all its life by Bob Brungard, Brungard Aviation in Boulder, Colorado (now Best Aviation in Longmont CO).

This is a dry-country hangered Duke. The tail surfaces and flight controls are as good as they get.

Total time is 3775 hours. (Times may be a few hours off as the logs are with the airplane in CO)

Carbide lifters are installed in both engines. No Intercoolers.

Right Engine: TIO-541-E1C4 sn: L-840-59
660 Since Bottom End overhaul
Crankcase OH by Crankcase Services Inc
Crankshaft/Rods/Cam OH by Aircraft Specialties
New Carbide Lifters/ New Rod bolts & Nuts/New Bearings

660 Since Bottom; 1240 Since major overhaul with Factory new Lycoming cylinders

295 hours since:
Overhauled turbo and wastegate
New turbo blanket
New transition with seals
New tailpipe

Left Engine: TIO-541-E1C4 sn: L-654-59
560 Since Major Overhaul
Crankcase OH by Divco
Crankshaft OH by Nicksons
New Bearings
Carbide lifters

Avionics:

Garmin 530W
Garmin 430W
Garmin 340 Audio
Garmin 330 with ES mod, ADS 2020 compliant
Garmin GDL-69 Weather uplink
Bendix RDR Series Radar in good working order
Century IV Autopilot with Yaw Damper
JPI EDM-760 Graphic Engine Monitor
JPI Fuelscan 450 Fuel Management
Collins PN-101 Pilot's HSI
Co-pilots sacred-six except Turn Coordinator
Lemo interfaces for Bose headsets

Glass is in good condition.
Interior is Beautiful, as is the paint.
Boundary Layer VG's
Wing Boots are new. Windshield heat and prop-ice function well.
Air Conditioning works well.
As good as this airplane looks, the strength are the mechanicals. The engines run beautifully (see oil sample reports on request), pressurization is also perfect. The airplane will come out of annual squawk free and the only reason I’m selling her is I am moving to a part time role in my business and downsizing our plane.

The Autopilot functions well, heater was replaced in 2021 and works very well.
Both wet wingtips were completely resealed in 2021.
The first aircraft log was lost in the mid-1970's at about 700 hours total time. The old N-Number nor the current show any damage history associated with them that I could find. Please send a PM if you would like me to send log copies.

This as a very low risk investment for someone looking for a Duke. The previous owner liked N54DB so much he wanted to convert this airframe to a Turbine, but the STC applies only to B Models, so he bought one that had already been converted.

It is such a shame that this Duke will sell for about the same price as an average 172. Such a tremendous deal here. You get so much airplane for so little money!

Matt - Great looking Duke!

We just completed a round trip: TX - CA - Cabo, MX - TX in our Duke.

Dukes are great traveling aircraft.

If ours was not a B model, I would be looking to upgrade to your Duke - yours looks like a top grade example of a Duke.

Ken

Thank you Ken. To be honest I am very sad to be selling her but life brings changes and this Duke will make someone as happy as she's made me. Glad you're enjoying yours too!

No mention of prop times? Maybe I missed it. Looked up old ad from 2020, and Kent suggested: Props are at 775 / 1015 . Should we just add a couple hundred hours to that time, or have they been overhauled?

Ty!

Sorry, I missed them. Yes add about 200 hours to those old times, it will be close.

Thanks,

Matt

N54DB is currently undergoing annual at Best Aviation in Longmont CO (LMO) and is disassembled. If you want to do a pre-buy now is the time and you will also see the level of detail that this airplane has been maintained at for more than 30 years. Price $179K

Thank you. It's a beautiful Duke that flies a lot and is very well maintained. The new owner is planning on using it more than I did so she has found a good home!
