Anyone look into the Debonair at www.selectairinc.com? Been listed for quite a
While. Curious if something is awry with it. Also listed here at TaP

Primary problem I see with it is that it’s not in my hangar.

Well, I don’t have a hangar. So…

Incidentally, it does appear that the hangar has recently flooded with a couple inches of water. Probably nothing to worry about, but just something to be aware of.

You can see where the water level was on the tire.

Select air has to have one of the worst websites I've seen in a long time. It's like stepping back to 1995 or something.

Aww, just click on “Piper Singles” and look for the Debonair!

Wow. That site is crazy. A bit used car lot “tell me the payment you want to make. I’ll get ya a plane today”

But fun to browse.

Just looking at the photos, I would agree the airplane has sat for awhile. The obvious flooding marks on the tires is an issue although it appears to only been on the tires and probably didn't get the bearings.

Even in the current market seems over priced for a hanger queen.

Has anyone bought a plane from Select Air?

Any broker dealt with them?

They look like the sketchiest broker in America.

Hard to believe they represent that many planes (according to their site) if no one on BT has ever dealt with them.

Maybe this can serve as a public service announcement. Good or bad. I’m curious if they are legit at all.
