Aircraft: Twin Bonanza D50B
I am selling my extraordinary Beechcraft Twin Bonanza D50A. N66QM is a 1957 Beechcraft Twin Bonanza D50A that left the factory in Wichita December of 1957. I am just the 6th registered owner of this exceptional plane since it left the factory in 1957. From 1958 to 1976 it was owned by the former Outboard Marine Corp. Under my ownership the plane has always been located and hangared at KECP Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport Panama City Florida. I purchased this Twin Bonanza in December of 2019 from a private aircraft collection in a climate controlled hangar located in Smith Falls Canada. N66QM has always been continuously U.S. registered. The airplane has been thoroughly reawakened and meticulously maintained since being returned the active flying fleet.

I have flown N66QM over 300 hours as my personal aircraft and family traveler since 2020. It has taken us all over in unparalleled comfort and stability. From flying regularly to my office in Missouri to diving the Florida Keys to Santa Fe, NM to Spearfish in the Black Hills of South Dakota to see Mount Rushmore, to skiing in Aspen to diving in Turks and Caicos N66QM is a true go there SUV of the skies. I am pursuing the smell of Jet A and a type rating so I want to see this airplane go to another good steward that will continue to care for it and enjoy it as much as we have.

Beautiful, beautiful plane, Shawn.

Dumb question from a non-buyer: Why do the right side rudder pedals appear not to align with the right seat? They're obviously where they were intended to be, but having never noticed this on a TwinBo, I'm scratching my head.

I have both seen and flown in 66QM, and can confirm this one is beautiful.

The airstair+overwing doors are the ideal setup, and the door lining is the best ;)

Interested buyers won't be disappointed.

All of the Twin Bonanzas, except the D50E and J50 (which have a "queen air" panel and center pedestal), have "center" rudder pedals. The right seat slides over to the middle for the co-pilot.

Stec 40 is heading/nav only? No altitude hold?

This is one of the great ones. I wish I had bought it years ago. It was the first one I saw for sale but I wasn't ready. Now I'm deep in another direction. The dual door set up is awesome. The paint job is somehow really good looking. I mean it seems simple, but it really suits the plane.

All I can do is echo what's already been said. This is a pristine example of the type. Someone will get a great "no excuses" family hauler.
