If you want to fly an historic, better than New piper super cub here is your rare opportunity:
Those piper super cubs (1961, 1968) were sold to the Israeli Air Force and used for pilot training.
Few years ago they were bought (from the military) by an old experience aircraft mechanic which re-built EVERYTHING, all new or better than new! (This is an A&P certified shop in Israel maintaining dozens of aircraft and helicopters, his othe projects are WWII TBM and Stearmans)
The aircrafts will be sold in the US with Zero time engine, Zero time prop, ALL new glass, ALL new fabric and paint, ALL new wiring, ALL in perfect condition 10/10 in and out, you can have your own custom avionics.
Price is $175k each.
