tsk tsk, we all saw the photos of yourself flying it home from Maine. No tie. No suit jacket. No shame.

Clearly I don't have enough class for this aircraft.

You know I would never let them sell your Bo, in fact I fly it regularly over to our grass strip and back to some of the really quiet gravel backcountry strips where there are not to many planes around that I could hit. I think the grass and gravel are a lot softer while I am still getting through that landing it smoothly curve, started out a bit firm shall we say. I have been using brake fluid to keep the bugs off those, so most the parts are still really shiny. :duck: :ahhh: :ahhh:

I owned a PA-12 for 12 years loved the airplane and they are a great value especially when you look at the price of Super Cubs these days. Extra wide and roomy for big guys. I think the 150HP is the right power plant anything lower I don't know how happy you would be with the performance.

Flew mine in Idaho backcountry and Utah it's a work horse not a show horse aircraft. Warning you can put a lot of money into upgrades to try to make a PA-12 a PA-18 but the resale hasn't been quite as robust.

I agree, Ray. It's easy to find Super Cubs at $150K these days. Of course, the Carbon Cubs are over $400,000.

A good working Super Cruiser gives much of the performance, with more comfort, for a fraction of the cost.

This one is solid. Not fancy. Just a good, working machine.
