In my range experience with 136 gallons usable, Even at slightly above best L/d this distance would be very nearly impossible without a significant tail wind. At 10nm/gal you would burn 125 of those 136 gallons, so 5.5 gallons usable in each side. Not in my comfort zone. Typically on a really great day I can squeeze 8.5nm/gallon out of my IO470s up above 10,000', which would take me 147 gallons to get to 1250 nm. With another 15 gallons per side, your 1250nm is potentially within reach, however, not at Ball$ to the wall power settings. Just my $0.02 Mike
