Gorgeous 1959 182B ready to deliver years of fun. This airplane has just undergone a thorough detailed annual of which specifics can be shared with serious interest. Specs are as follows:
Airframe TT: 4220 Engine Total Time: 0 SMOH October 2021 @ JB Aircraft Engines in Sebring Prop: BRAND NEW Hartzell Scimitar Prop. Damage: None known Logs: Complete Panel: Garmin 430, KX155, STEC-50 Autopilot, STRATUS ADSB Transponder Paint: 2016 9.5/10 Interior:2016 9.5/10 Bubble windows, rear passenger window vents Fuel Bladders: 2018 Annual: Currently finishing extremely thorough annual. Expected to be complete next week. Tail AD complied with during annual.

Thanks Adam I think a lot of people are just now discovering how capable these straight tails are. STOL performance right out of the factory. These airplanes have a very loyal following.

If they are bending firewalls, it likely has nothing to do with the plane itself. Unlike the newer models, this plane has a moving horizontal stabilizer for trim. Even at slow speeds, there is plenty of elevator authority (in my experience).

Only because the nose wheel is hitting first. A little ballast in the baggage compartment really helps when there’s only one or two people in the front seats. People are hesitant to use full nose up trim on landing. They don’t think they can go around with that trim setting. It’s all about the right instructor. It’s a great airplane when flown properly.
