He’s baaaaaaaaaack!!!!

Funny ol’ thing. He’s turned into “He Who Must Not Be Named” - just like ol’ Lord Whatshisname from the Harry Potter novels.

The seller of that partnership is quite a colorful character who used to be a BT regular but got banned for repeated TOS violations.

… a beloved, and hilarious character in MY book, BTW. I miss him. But once he was Disappeared, nobody even mentions him.

I mention him from time to time but Crandall became the new Voldemort and now Rich is the new Voldemort.

The entertainment value alone justifies your purchase of this Baron. Being partners with a CFI/A&P is just icing on the cake.

This would be tempting, but the insurance costs to add me would be crazy since I don't have a ME rating.

My first memory of him was reading the “Str-angel” flight post. Cracked me up, and I miss him as well. If anybody wants a flavor, look that up in thread history.

FWIW: flew N18MD to Telluride last week. She is sitting in Concord (KCCR) at the moment.

Wife's impression: wow, this thing really climbs (when departing Minden NV to Telluride).
She was also surprised I never messed up the callsign...asked if it meant we were buying in.

TAS at 11.5k hitting 201kts...that cuts down on the travel time.

Landing in T-Ride...nice. Takeoff...nice to have 300hp times 2 when Density altitude 11.3k.

Anyone considering the plane feel free to PM me. I have flown her 8 hours in the last week and is in my hangar in Concord currently.
