Latitude Aviation is proud to bring to market N481S, which is a highly upgraded 1970 Beechcraft V35B Bonanza owned by a BeechTalk member. N481S was based in Phoenix, AZ but is now temporarily based in Los Angeles at Zamperini Field (KTOA) for the sales process. There is no damage history that I could find in the logbooks or records.

N481S is incredible example of a V35B and is one of the most highly upgraded versions I have ever sold. The current owner has owned the plane for almost 8 years and he has done all of the great upgrades to the aircraft.

The panel has been highly upgraded to a full Garmin glass panel with a G500, 750, 650, GDL 88, G5, GMA 35, and Flight Stream 510. It also has a late model STEC 55X autopilot, AOA, and MVP 50 engine management system.

The engine is an IO-550 and has been upgraded with the Tornado Alley Whirlwind III turbonormalizing system including GAMI baffling, turboGAMIjectors, etc. The TAT TN system was installed in 2017 and many of the engine's accessories were replaced/overhauled at that time. The cylinders were also overhauled at that time.

Some other great upgrades are the FTA air conditioning system, built-in oxygen system (with FADOC), D'Shannon tip tanks, and B&C standby alternator. The plane has also been upgraded with LED lights, G&D tinted window inserts, vortex generators, speed brakes, and D'Shannon aileron and flap gap seals. There are many other smaller upgrades as well.

The paint is older but shows really well and the interior was replaced in 2016 and is in outstanding condition.

Below are detailed specs along with Dropbox links to the logbooks and high resolution photo gallery. I can also email the FAA records upon request. Please call or email any time to discuss this incredible example of a Beechcraft V35B Bonanza. Thank you!

-Neal

Can someone share with me the AVG annual and a V tail in this vintage and usual MX costs in a bird like this? Owned 2 Cirrus and now looking for a new plane. Curious on MX since never owned a BC.

Wow THAT's a traveling machine!!!

If I still had my medical I'd be tempted to wait for a good tail wind and fly it nonstop over the Rockies to Chicago at 20,000.

My shop charged 2800 to inspect the plane. Almost invariably there was some improvement I wanted to make (e.g. adding a Boom Beam), and there was stuff that had to be done, so iirc the full bills usually ran around 4/5000.

By way of reference I once had a $22K annual on my Piper Arrow. Bonanza is built better and things last longer.

I have a ‘69. My last annual was 4K. But we did A lot of maintenance and it was with a new IA. My usual has been in the 2k range. With my IA the base annual is 1800 for a TN plane 2400. This is in East Tennessee once you get them dialed in the cost is not bad.
