N23571 is a well maintained, hangared, flown regularly, no damage history E55 Baron with the highly desirable options including long range fuel, alcohol props and windshield, and color radar. It has been extensively rebuilt with an open checkbook over the last four years as outlined below. The avionics include an Avidyne 550 with synthetic vision, a GNS 430, and a Lynx NGT-9000+ with Active Traffic. The only parts of my plan for the plane that have not been completed yet are new boots and a paint job. I have used this plane for travel during my ownership with incredible dispatch reliability and performance. It is without question the best plane I have owned and flown. My mission has changed significantly after retiring with no long distance travel and with the new plane I am building nearing completion, I feel its time to find my Baron a new home.

Avionics:
Avidyne IFD550 FMS/GPS/NAV/COM with Synthetic Vison
Garmin GNS 430
L3 Lynx NGT-9000+ system – ADSB in/out, Active traffic, transponder, weather color screen, annunciator
Bendix RDR160 Color Radar
King KFC200 AP/FD w/ KI 256
King KCS 55A w/ KI 525 HSI
Collins AMR 350 Audio Panel
WX 11 Stormscope
JPI 760 engine monitor with Fuel Flow

Equipment:
Alcohol props and windscreen
Heated Pitot/stall warning/fuel vents
Prop Syncrophaser
Electric door seal
Three point Strobes
172 gallon fuel system (166 usable)
Cleveland wheels and brakes
Combustion heater
Remote ELT
6 port oxygen system
Wing ice light
PS Engineering Intercom
LP Aero Extra thick 1/2" Windscreen
Deice boots in fair condition but fully operational
All fuel cells replaced since 2006
Oxygen bottle hydrostatic tested 5/1/2014. MH EDS O2D2 pulse oxygen system installed
IFR - pitot static/txpdr/altimeter certification 7/30/2019
Paint is in good condition but does have some oxidation on the white upper surfaces - 6/10

Interior:
The interior is in good condition - 7/10
Exclusive Aircraft Interiors - 2005
6 seats finished in high quality grey leather
Headliner and carpet are in good condition
Refurbished glare shield
5th and 6th seat are included but not currently in the plane

Major work/upgrades performed since purchase in February 2016:

2016:
Replaced both Engines with Continental factory remanufactured including mounts, hoses, accessories, etc. Everything from the firewall forward was either replaced or O/H, except the exhaust which was replaced in 2018.
Refurbished all baffling and installed new baffle seals etc.
Replaced both engine mounts with AW Beechcraft engine mounts – terminates inspection AD
Replaced combustion heater with new overhauled unit – terminates inspection AD
Replaced landing gearbox assembly with new overhauled unit including motor
Rebuilt front nose gear steering and retraction systems including rod ends, bushings, etc.
Overhauled both propellers and governors – South Coast Propeller
Replaced several floorboards due to oil soaking from leaking gearbox assembly

2017:
Installed an Avidyne IFD550 FMS/GPS/NAV/COM
Installed a L3 Lynx NGT-9000+ system – ADSB in/out, Active traffic, transponder, weather display with color screen, annunciator, etc.

2018:
Replaced both engine exhaust systems with new overhauled assemblies (December 2018)
2019:
Replaced both batteries with new Concorde RG-25XC

Most of the KFC200 AP/FD has been either serviced or overhauled by Autopilots Central since I bought the plane, including the pitch servo, KC295 flight computer, 525A Pictorial Nav Indicator, 256 Flight Command Indicator, and the Directional Gyro.

Engines:
Both engines were replaced in October 2016 with Continental factory remanufactured and as of November 2019 had about 480 hrs. During an oil change last November, we found the left engine filter showing small metal particles. We traced them to pitting on two lifters. These lifters also wore down the two associated cam lobes. An exhaust valve also started showing signs of going bad. These are well documented issues that have been written about extensively on BeechTalk and other aviation boards. Continental feels the problem with my engine was not a result of a manufacturing flaw, assembly error, or defective components but did provide all needed parts to repair the out of warranty engine. The left engine was removed and sent to Signature in Cincinnati for repair. All new lifters and cam were installed along with the overhauled cylinder. The cam and lifters provided by Continental were not installed. Superior Airparts cam and lifters were installed instead at my direction. The cam replacement requires a full tear down so everything that would be replaced during an overhaul was also replaced including main and rod bearings, gaskets, etc.

To get the plane back flying, I purchased a used motor in December with approximately 950 hrs and have it currently installed on the plane. This engine is running fine and can be purchased if the buyer is interested but is not included in the sale. The original left engine has just been received back from Signature and is scheduled to be install soon.

The right motor has required no work and runs great. All exhaust valves on both motors have been checked by borescope at every oil change and annual inspection. The mags have just received their 500 hr. service on both motors.

Due to the confusion I created with a incorrect second post for more pictures, here is the original post with everything in one thread.

I'm sorry, for some reason I was expecting the JPI 960.

I had been thinking about it! What's there now works great and with so many new options coming out theses days it was not on the top of the list.

My E55 after I had it redone to glass. The radar is photo shopped in by Avionics guy.

Your's is perfect! I couldn't use the Garmin PFD due to having any integration with my 1975 Bendix autopilot. Your configuration is the perfect one. Good job.
