Aircraft: V35A
For Sale 1968 Turbo V35A Bonanza
Price 82000
Certificate: Experimental Exhibition and Air Racing recently reauthorized by the FAA.
NEW ADSB out with Latest 1090 UAVIONICS transponder
NEW electronic ignition
Engine TIO541 single turbo 1100+ hours
Airframe 5000+ hours
Time since Prop OH less than 300+ hours
More specific time upon request

KLN 94 RNAV Approach capable
STEC approach capable autopilot non VNAV
Extended range fuel tanks Osbourne system custom 30gal tip tanks 74 gal internal
Internal Janitrol heater for the high altitude flights.
Internal Oxygen large capacity.

Original design idea and built by Darryl Greenamyer famous Reno air racer and test pilot. Extremely well designed and performs better than expected.

Performance exceeds the Turbo V35A. I use The Turbo V35A charts and numbers, 36" for takeoff. The TIO 541 is limited to 42" MP so there is reserve performance.

Climb usually 100- 120kts and easy 1000fpm+ to 20000' then 500fpm on up.
This airplane has a long history.

High Altitude capability non RVSM limited to 27000'. Recent Transponder check to 25000'.

Cruise performance is really your choice. With fuel prices I usually fly at 185 kt/tas burning 14.5 gal/hr. 210kt/tas your in the 17gal/hr+ range. Go faster, VMO, and your in the 22+ range. Because this plane has high altitude capability these numbers vary as you climb. I am finding it flys about 5 kt slower than the Beech Duke flys in cruise with half the burn.

Range is of course affected by speed and altitude. If you use a conservative 16 gal/hr burn you have 8+30 and 45 min reserve range. This really makes fuel planning interesting as you can really tanker cheap gas essentially bypassing stops and bad weather.

Around the airport in the pattern ATC is thown off by the speed difference. Slowing down must be planned. They try to squeeze you in with traditional slow aircraft and you just are too fast.

Landing just like any Bonanza except the power is there on the GA.

Weight and balance is always an issue in Bonanza's, but more so in this plane. I have made some great progress in moving the CG forward, but the best fix would be to remove the janitrol heater in the tail. This is a big project which I have not yet tackled. I can remove this for a sale should a new owner request.

ALL ADs are in compliance. COMPLETE logbook history dating to Beechcraft 1968.

My family would say not to remove the heater! It gets cold up there from the TN point of view

is that a janitrol heater? if so, why?

202kts seems low, that's what normalized birds see

Thanks Conrad

TIO541 E1C4 s/n L-1256-59. I'm trying to post some video, but I think I'm exceeding the file size.

How often do you have to re-authorize the AW cert, and does each pilot need an LOA ?
