Username Protected wrote: Where is the airplane located? What is your fuel burn just messing around? Does 400hp require 100ll? Tom, -Airplane is currently located in Northwest Washington State at W28. -About 20gph if you’re just flying around locally down low. -Definitely requires 100LL, one of the ways they got 400hp was to use high compression pistons.

Username Protected wrote: Daniel, how does it do on turf strips? The CJ6 was designed in an era and environment where unimproved landing strips were common. I think they work just fine on turf. The marginally related Yak-52 can even be landed gear up with minimal damage.

Username Protected wrote: I can't believe this hasn't sold yet Wanna go halfsies? I'd love to have this airplane but I think my wife would "object" if I bought a 3rd airplane. I've got 10-15 hours of CJ6 time too. Of course we'd need to keep it in MN...

Username Protected wrote: Yes Lance, just what the Bromschwig family needs.....airplane number EIGHT. If we split it, can we get it to FCM and tear the radios out of it? i guess that's SOP for a Bromschwig airplane.
I'd be offended if I had the time for it!

Update:
Moved aircraft to Lancaster/Palmdale area in California - driving distance from LAX/Ontario/Burbank/etc. (Rosamond Skypark - L00)
As it’s now separated from it, I would consider selling the airplane for $115k without the spare engine and prop.
