					| The owner passed away and his family has decided to sell Cripes. I have been taking care of it for about 7 years I suppose.
Inflation is coming and had I had money when I was young, investing in a P-51 would have been a pretty good deal! I would say they are up 5X in the 30 years I have been playing with warbirds. Not Cisco or Amazon, but an asset you can see feel and touch, and that is not bad return for a hard asset. Cripes was the Grand Champion WWII Warbird at Oshkosh in '02. It has been well cared for since. It shows, and flies, very well.

Pics and specs attached. Come visit and take a look.

Edit $2.9M (it's on the spec sheet)

					| Hi Doug,
 What separates a 1.5, 2.0, 3.0 and even 4 million Mustang?

Prices are all over the place.

					| Mostly restoration status.
The engine time is a much as smaller factor.

1.5 is a bare bones flyer that needs some love.

It would take 3.5+ to duplicate this one today.

4 would have to be a recently restored TF-51.

					| I haven't seen any Mustangs for under 2.0m in a long time. I hope to be able to fly one someday. They're a bit out of my "budget" for now. Good luck with the sale, Doug.

					| I know of a deserving CAF Wing that is down a Mustang if the estate is interested in making an enormous tax-deductible donation . . . L
