Latitude Aviation is proud to represent N433DN, which is a 1990 Beechcraft F33A Bonanza that has been based in Truckee, CA and is now physically located in Bellingham, WA. N433DN is owned by a BeechTalk member.
N433DN has the sought-after Atlantic Aero IO-550-R conversion. This is a tuned induction engine rated at 310hp and has a 2000 hour TBO, new carbon fiber 2-piece nose bowl, and stainless steel exhaust. It transforms the F33A and gives it incredible performance. I personally flew the aircraft from its home in Truckee to WA state, and was astounded by the smooth, balanced operation noticeable immediately after start, cool climb CHTs, and smooth LOP operation at 12.7 gph, observing 174 KTAS at 10,500’. The aircraft can achieve ROP speeds above 180 KTAS. I’ve flown several Atlantic Aero A36s, and several IO-520 F33As - the performance and fuel economy of this aircraft is spectacular, and in many ways is a near-peer to turbocharging in the mid-teens with the proven simplicity of the IO-550.
The avionics are state of the art and well-integrated with Garmin G500, GFC500 with yaw damper, GTN 750/650, GI 275, GTX 335 ADS-B transponder, GMA 345 Bluetooth audio panel, and JPI EDM-930 color engine monitor. The vacuum system has been removed from the aircraft for simplicity and weight savings.
Other great upgrades include 20gal Osborne tip tanks, aileron and flap gap seals, vortex generators, B&C standby alternator, Atlantic Aero cooling baffles, speed brakes, Door Steward, and Reiff Turbo XP engine preheater. A neat feature is N433DN’s R134A electric air conditioning system with panel-mounted controller, conveniently removable on cool days or if baggage space or CG considerations would benefit. As a 1990, N433DN is a late-model aircraft with low total time and excellent engine/prop times and 2000 hour TBO.
N433DN was repainted with JetGlo in 2011 and shows beautifully. Interior is original gray leather, and apart from a refurbished glareshield and re-webbed seat belts, shows nicely for 1990.
A few top and bottom skins were replaced on both wings along with lower fuselage skins in 4/2003 by American Aviation for unknown reasons. There is no correlated replacement of landing gear or engine/prop components during this time, so we do not believe the aircraft was subject to a gear-up landing or collapse.
I have pasted the spec sheet below and it includes a Dropbox link to the high-resolution photo gallery (with 100+ photos), logbooks, 337's, and other documentation. Please email, text, PM, or call anytime to discuss N433DN. Thank you!
