This is a temping upgrade. You’re based in WA right? I’m at S10.

Yes it would. I’m in Anacortes..

Gorgeous 200, Daniel - have you found a solid KA maintenance resource in Seattle that you trust?

Absolutely not unfortunately. We take the airplane to Sacramento area for phases. I have a place down there that the work quality and customer service far exceeds the fuel cost and hassle of flying it down there once a year. There may be a decent closer option but I haven’t found it.

it's more like 5.5.. at 280 we see cabin at about 8k

we have the -42 upgrade with 3 blade props and run them at 720c for about 260-265ktas on about 275lbs/side at FL250-280... down low expect 400lbs/side

This doesn’t seem right…I have -41’s.

Flight level 280 I can hold a 5.4 on one flow pack only. Never seen it below 6.0 with both.

I get 253-260TAS weight depending at 280, 700C, burning 250-255 gph. I love the efficiency of these 41/42 airplanes. Don’t let the purchase price distract you from how efficient and affordable these are to operate. Amazing dispatch reliability, affordable parts, on and on.

That all sounds about right. I gave an altitude range, at 270-280, we see those same fuel flows. See attached. You must have a tight airframe. 6.0 is redline, so I’ve always been comfortable seeing 5.5 or so. The big difference between -41 and -42 is climb above 14k. ITT is higher on -41 for same torque value. I just set temp to 720 all the way up. I think it would take longer with -41 without pushing ITT higher. GLWS
