Wish you could buy a 1750TTE+A 180 HP C172M for $58K? Well… Good luck on that. But you can buy a nice super low time late production number Rockwell Lark 180 that needs to fly. Fly it anywhere. April 24 annual, June IFR / TXP. Factory swept tail, baggage bin, wheel pants, certified for belted floor seating and jump/door removal, etc. Cleveland brakes. PMA8000 audio panel with built in noise cancellation/cell input; Garmin 400W, new comm antennas for icom/TSO-com. FS450 fuel flow wired to GPSMAP 3/296. SkyRadar ADSB in. Immaculate maintenance history. Just never flown much. Never a rental. Has NavWorx ADSB out (AD C/W) but I do not like it. Original paint is poor. Was going to get it painted, but thought someone might rather save money and do their own paint scheme. Huntsville Alabama area. Bought this for my son 4 years ago; his job took him to Washington state. Plane wants someone to really fly it!

One big difference between the Lark and Cessna 172, is that there are very, very few ADs, and they are easy to comply with. I was really shocked our first annual when my IA was done checking them in no time. On the flip side, there are very few STCs. And yes, if the FAA’s proposed Light Sport expansion goes through, the Lark will easily qualify. Insurance is cheap and requires no special training. I’m selling because I don’t need 2 4 place aircraft. Lark has 40 gallons fuel like a 172. Appreciate the Qs!

Feel a bit silly commenting on my own ad post but some may be interested in the QandAs from my tire kicker ad post. Yes same standard fuel as 172. 40 gallons Yes it is hangered now / last 20 years I am near Huntsville Alabama Yep it is used. 1969 build date. No cash, payment and title will by Escrow service. Yes you / your mechanic may inspect it. Please. Yes you may talk to my IA. Annual in May. No I am not an A&P. Fuel flow is to 396 so you always have fuel to destination separate from G400W next IFR ATC waypoint. (Good question actually.) No I do not want to trade for another 4 place aircraft (keeping my Beech.) No owner financing but escrow co can set it up. Hours approximate-changing-flew last night. Yes you should definitely fly it before you buy it. Yes I will consider other offers. (Will definitely knock off for Beechtalk member or their new pilot friend they are mentoring.) No I don’t need a broker.
Hope this was humorous if not helpful.
Couple more - appreciate comments below. I think a couple pics made it through finally.
Yes it complies with expanded light sport stall requirements in MOSAIC if FAA ever signs it. (Would allow drivers license medical and 1 passenger under proposed rule.). Good Q.
Yes, If you can fly a 172 or Cherokee you can fly it. This was Rockwell aero commander’s trainer - with 180 hp Lycoming, vs 160 Darter. Climbs. CFII checkout available.
No - no special insurance requirements just confirmed with Avemco. Why selling: Bought for my son, he moved. I barely have time to fly one airplane. Airplanes need to be flown more than once or twice a month.
Thanks for your Qs. PM me if interested and can send more pics specs via email.
