I've been working on my certificate since April 2008. Life would creep on on me and interupt my training. A new baby, moving from PA to TX, and a mass layoff from a DOD contract were a few obstacles that slowed me down, but ultimately did not keep me from reaching my goal. At the time of my checkride I had about 110 hours in the C172! At 33 I think there's still plenty of time for flying left in me. I've been stalking the forum for a while, researching the eye candy known as the V35 Bonanza. Now on to instrument training so I'll be better prepared for a faster plane and longer flights. After 6 long years I'm finally part if the club. The best part is now the wife wants her ticket!

Fort Worth. Lockheed brought me out here from PA last year. The family and I have really enjoyed the move. It's a great place!
