He enjoys always having an airplane that is cleaned and waxed (read I'm a clean freak). Also likes not having to clean the belly, flat tires/struts or dead batteries EVERY TIME he goes to fly. I'm also his On call CFI for refreshers when he doesn't fly for 6 months at a time. JKA

While it sounds like you have a good gig going flying your friends plane, NOTHING beats the feeling of opening your hangar door and looking at YOUR plane... And then you get to fly it!!!!! Good luck, Got the job, got married, bought the new car (really like walking out to the garage to MY car), just bought the house, airplane is next on the list and I have the wife's blessing! I've had to hold myself to all things come in due time and and at they time they are supposed to. JKA

You are doing it in the right order! Neat to have SWMBO's blessing. It cant ever be too much of a financial burden; that takes the fun out of it. Its the reason I dont want a twin. Right now I jump in to my plane and fly to where ever whenever I can, without even thinking about the fuel cost. With a twin I would, and thats a dealer breaker for me.... Good luck with your search and keep us posted!
Keep us posted.
