OK, question:
My S-Tec 30 works pretty well, but sometimes lags, especially in bumpy weather or when it's coupled to a localizer (high sensitivity). I know it's rate-based and won't be as smooth as, say, a Century 2000, but is there a gain adjustment to make its responses a little "stronger," so to speak?

Well since you asked I have a question. It has happened the last two flights. I have a KFC150. With a KC 192. Normally it stays dead on track. But on the last two RNAV approaches, with the approach button engaged, the plane gradually strayed about 2 1/2 out of the 5 marks on the 525 to the right. Both times it was before the FAF and it came back in to center gradually. It has never been that far off track on the approach. It happened on the last two approaches I did.
Wondering if there are any simple things I can do to check it.
Thanks Russ
