Hey Folks! While I have been flying for 27 years, I am new to Beech products - I had never flown in any Beech airplane before I went to pick up my 1997 BE58 in Atlanta, GA in November, 2012!! Had faith that an airplane with such a rabid following could only be good.
Prior to this had owned a 1979 Cessna Turbo 210, and prior to that 1977 Mooney 201 and a 1947 Aeronca Champ.
I got a fresh Commercial AMEL for the Baron, in the Baron, from the best training shop on the planet - Century Air at Caldwell Airport in NJ.
I mostly fly with the family (wife + 3 kids - 10, 13 & 14.5), and dont have a specific "mission". Some pics are attached... Working on getting in flight photos....

It's more like a treatment for a headache. Take two Aspens and call me in the morning.

The dual Aspens on the left will be flanked with the attitude, altitude & airspeed rounds on the left, along with a PM8000BT audio panel, GTN750, and the existing KMH850 on the right, and a backup nav/com & mode-S Transponder on the far right I will be getting the Autopilot adapter and the alt pre-select for my KFC-200 - and leaving the top of the right stack open for an ipad mini mount! Will post pics as we go along...

This is a Nice Airplane to start with. Did you already go on that Bahamas run? Back to spending your Money.. Are you going to keep the Air system just for the backup A/I? I know you have 2 Vacuum pumps and it doesn't 'need' to get done, but you could replace with a RCA-2600-3" or get the 2" model and put it where the Instrument Air gauge used to be or the other hole above it. Will save you a few pounds from removing the pumps, associated plumbing & regulators, and will make your walled lighter too so CG should not change much!
