Hey Everybody,
I started looking for a King Air C90 of my own, but I could not pass up the allure of a straight jet...
Flew it home from Florida last week (with typed pilot). We are sorting through a mass of paperwork (transferring cesscom, MEL, RVSM, city of Scottsdale, Self fueling permit, etc.) and getting typed so I can get back in the air ASAP and see what it can really do...
So far, pretty cool -- did 300 kts into a good 60 - 80 kt headwind on the way home, so it seems pretty quick (to me anyway). Can't wait to get the LOA for RVSM to see what it will do at FL410...
So, its not a Beech, but, whaddyathink?

Yeah -- broker selling the plane took those nice shots -- come to think of it, I did *not* get the flowers or the cookies with the plane. Other than that, the airplane looked just like the pictures which was a plus, since we bought it more or less sight unseen...

Its a 1976 Citation 500. It has a bunch of Sierra mods (not a stallion, unfortunately) but it does have the Long Wing mod and the gross weight increase...
With how much it costs to run, its going to be pretty much all business use, I'm afraid (its just not worth 2k in fuel for a weekend trip...). We are also dry leasing it out a bit (for type ratings/recurrent training).
