My wife and I live in Bremerton, WA, and feel totally blessed to have come upon N8348D. For us, it has a huge WOW factor. I'm still giddy over all the events that led up to us stumbling on it. The plane is a J35 that was completely redone by Toby Wiltse of Bend/Redmond/Sisters Oregon. He did an incredible job, with amazing attention to detail. I have almost 500 hours in five Bonanza 35s and this is far and away the nicest, for us. I'm 75 and expect to fly until 85. We've had several Cessnas (150, 172, 177), and flew Robinson R22 helicopters for several years. But the V-tailed Bonanza is our favorite. Our biggest adventure was that several years ago we flew a P35 (N1792G) VFR around the continental United States and planned to land in every State (thwarted away from the NE only by weather). We plan to keep the plane in impeccable condition, especially because we have the help of another BeechTalk member, Doug Haughton.

Make sure you take a weekend day to fly up to Lynden. There are a bunch of Beechcraft guys up here who'd love to see your new bird.
Fred Are there any places to eat that are walking distance from the Lynden airport? My wife and I flew in last year with the Cessna to go to the county fair, and thought it was, or is, one of the most beautiful small airports we'd ever seen.

What a beauty and a cutie! We are over in Sequim, we use William Fairchild in PA though. Love the paint and the panel, this will be my "Evolution". Even though this design is older, it looks as good as anything out there now and performs about the same! Come over and fly in the "blue hole"!

Welcome aboard. Beautiful airplane. Do you know Dave Schultz by chance. He has a C-35 at Bremerton. I visited him there a few years back. Great restaurant also.
