..Isn't that how you are supposed to start out at these meetings?
I am a BeechTalk newbie; Thanx for letting me in the group. I am not a Beech owner but I am an occasional Beech Pilot. I am surrounded by them at my field and they even let me fly them every once in a while. I am based at Spicewood, TX (88R - outside of Austin.) My favorite Beech that I occasionally get to "ride" in is a B36TC Turbine conversion with a PT6. My second favorite is the Pristine Duke that my buddy owns and flys. I keep trying to get him to re-power it with 2 PT6s, but he keeps telling me that I have to pay for it.
If you are ever flying around central Texas, drop in and visit. We have a great bunch of pilots and a close community of friends. We don't allow night ops so if you are caught here after dark, stop by the hanger for a tequila shot!

I get to 88R at least once or twice a year... Great cast of characters down there! Bill is an old friend of mine & Rebecca is a sweetie... I have sat in front of Dick's hangar and hoisted a cool frosty several times, and the Spicewood Pilots Assn Annual Mtg is a great event......
Next time you see a bright Red Rocket on the Ramp there, stop me and say hi!

Welcome Robb, On my first familiarization flight in my Deb my partner/instructor tried to get me to land at Spicewood and I . Gusting winds on final had me all over the place and that taxiway-of-a-runway wasn't getting any bigger . I'm ready to give it another go!
