After 30 years of flying Pipers and 8 years of owning a 1994 Saratoga, I purchased a beautiful 1976 BE55. What an incredible airplane! Fast, responsive, agile and balanced are a few words that describe my early transition to this awesome airplane. What's even better is the prior owner spent a lot replacing fuel bladders, windshield, props and much more. This 2500 TT airplane with LT engines will serve me well for many years.
I look forward to being a part of Beechtalk, both to contribute and most importantly, to learn.

Hi John and welcome aboard! Sounds like you picked a great plane that will continue to be loved. I love my Baron and do a lot of trips with it.

The Toga is a great airplane, but it had a run out engine and an IO540 FN is about $40k (+/-). Additionally, I was ready for a new challenge in my flying and I had really never used my ME rating (about 100 hours in a Seneca). Also, I do alot of cross country flying in the SE US, including the Bahamas and wanted a twin.
