Hi All, Wanted to oficially introduce myself after having been around for more than a year. My family bought a Baron 58 from the US and I ferried it down to Uruguay, South America in September of 2011. Pics here: https://picasaweb.google.com/1117867174 ... 74_trbSNcgGot my multi engine licence this year in May, now I have already logged about 100 hours (300 total) on the plane and I cant believe how lucky I am! Our mission: We use the plane as family transport to go to a farm that is 1:15 mins flight (from SUAA - Montevideo to Salto). N number is ISA after my mom Isabel who bankrolled the purchase for the Baron by selling most of her livestock! We have an amazing 2100ft grass strip at the farm and we operate with 6pax usually so we just added VGs to increase our safety. I really get tons of information from this place and for that I am eternally thankful Many thanks to everyone!

A couple of videos from a while back when we had just done the strip (now it looks awesome with white cement markings and green grass ... Ft Lauderdale KFXE to Providenciales (MBPV - Turks and Caicos) Providenciales to Curacao (TNCC) SLEEP Curacao to Boa Vista, Brasil (SBBV) SLEEP (see big thunderstorm in pics) Boa Vista to Alta Floresta, Brasil (SBAT) Alta Floresta to Campo Grande, Brasil (SBCG) Campo Grande to Iguazu Falls, Argentina (SARI) SLEEP Iguazu to Montevideo, Uruguay (SUAA) It`s a 1973 BE58 with 520s. Now working on my instruments rating to take advantage of all the knobs in that cockpit! thanks to all for the welcome comments!

Bienvenido Felipe! I looked at your pictures before I read most of the text and noticed the Provo airport right away in Turks and Caicos... great place for sure and a really decent airport. I've only flown in there commercial but thought it would be a great place to fly a Bo sometime. I know, I know, single engine over water.... Looks like an awesome trip though. Congrats!

Welcome Felipe. Your plane looks great and you certainly are going to get to fly it lots. Sounds like a great time bringing it home.
