Hi All, I'm just a lurker here and stumbled upon this site while browsing for Beech's. I'm about 24 hours into earning my PPL, but I've spent many a Saturday exploring air museums with my brother and father and love airplanes. When I'm not finding time for flight lessons, I spent plenty of time wrenching on my old cars and I thought a Beech 18 would make a great family plane one day. That is until I researched the cost and started browsing other Beech planes like the Bonanza. I could see myself in one of those one day. But until then, I'll just be living vicariously through you guys. Keep up the good work. The planes and information on this forum are fantastic. Thanks, Drew Bingham

See what I mean fellas? Lots of folks getting their PPL at PDK. The place is busy.
What school are you with over there?

I'm at SkyBound and loving it. I must say it was intimidating at first with all the traffic, but now I seem to find the smaller strips with no traffic a little strange!

I used to rent an Archer from Skybound when I first got my PPL. Flew all over the place in that thing. Is Evanthea still there?

You're too kind Greg. And if I remember correctly, your judgment may have been impaired when we flew together... Or maybe it was just a sugar high from all the syrup...eh?

I do have one heck of a sweet tooth, but, I stand by what I said, Drew will love the experience.
