Hi everyone!
I'm Amber, a travel writer who is "hitching" rides on private planes across the across US in an effort to visit all 50 states. Right now, I am doing a "trial run" on a few states and then heading to Oshkosh. After Airventure, we will be shooting a television series based on my travels with an emphasis on the aviation community. If you visit jetHiking.com you will find my goals for the project, a blog documenting my trip, as well as clips from newspapers, news stations, radio stations, and other media outlets that are covering my journey.

If you have an upcoming trip and wouldn't mind me tagging along, please shoot me an e-mail at jetHikingGypsy@gmail.com.

Thanks!
Amber

Well, you oughta tell us which highway you're on, and maybe a nearby mile marker. I might be driving by looking for upturned thumbs. :D

Hi Amber,

Welcome to Beechtalk. As I had mentioned in my email, this is a great bunch of people and you will have more options in your travels with the great beechtalkers. A lot of our members also venture to Oshkosh....so you may be in luck....

Good Luck !

...Babar.

Update...
Amber the Jethiker was just in MN for a couple days. My son and I flew her up to Fargo ND today. After visiting ND and SD, she will be working her way west to Cody WY and Yellowstone. It was a fun experience to meet her and help her with the adventure. Here is her email if anyone wants to check in of offer assistance along the way.

Welcome Amber. If you need a trip to Nashville, let me know (I am always looking for a good reason to fly) Also, you should include the Beech Party as one of your destinations to try to get to. It will be coming up in Mid October in Tullahoma, TN!

Amber, I am the one who stopped you at Oshkosh just before the Lt Dan Band/Gary Sinise concert! I had recognized you from your posts. Hope you had a great time at OSH!
