Just joined. I'm a CFI, II & MEI, and I've been a pilot for 20 years. Until just a couple months ago, I had never even been in any model Beechcraft. Last October, I got to fly a 1958 BE-95 Travelair and then I've gotten to fly a 1967 E-33 Bonanza a couple of times.

I hadn't really ever heard anything bad about Beechcraft, but the one thing I've really notice about both the Travelair, and the Bonanza is that they're both REALLY comfortable and they're both REALLY stable instrument platforms. Why do you Beech people keep this such a secret?

We don't; other people just prefer not to listen :)

Welcome to the board.

Do you have any idea what the cost of hangar rental runs at KAPA for the typical small Beechcraft (e.g. 33s, 35s)?

Don't now what hangar rentals are running these days. A couple years ago, the open T-hangars were around $100-150/month as I recall.

Welcome Mike!

'tis no secret. Ask any BeechTalker about their airplane and you'll be gone for a week!

Welcome to the board Mike. I got my multi & m.e.i. ratings in a Travelair. That worked out well, because six months later I moved on to a 135 operator that had a couple of Barons. It made the transition relatively painless...until they got some Chieftains, and I had to learn how to fly an airplane with the prop, throttle, and mixture controls in the "wrong" place. ;)
