Met a twin bonanza driver from CDW who recommended I check out this group. I'm the current owner of a '63 Musketeer. Currently hangered by the kind folks at CDW as Irene ambles over. Based at TTA (Sanford, NC)

Welcome Don, I owned a '77 Sundowner for ten years before I purchased my Bonanza two years ago. A little advice for getting along on this forum . . . attach pictures of your bird ASAP. . . it keeps the natives from getting restless.

Hi Don.
Saw you pull in at CDW as I was trying up the airplane I fly in prep for Irene. Too many airplanes with bad or no ropes on that ramp, I moved it over to the empty ramp where I work near Twy B.
Welcome.

Welcome. Did you notice I had to stuff my shoe under the nose wheel to keep it from rolling away as I tied up? I'm hoping that this is due to an overabundance of caution in dealing with standing water and I'll have no problem taking off tomorrow. (of course, the slope would drain water _toward_ the ramp... Oh well.)
