Hi to everybody on BT. I bought my first Bonanza 3 months ago (last aircraft Diamond Star DA40 180) and love it. She's a 1965 V35 the second V35 made. I operate out of a 600m grass strip in Bodmin Cornwall UK EGLA, which the Bonanza deals with very well. As you can see from the photos she needs some updating; nevertheless she's a sound aircraft which I will update as funds permit.

Ed, may I call you Ed? If not let me know. I'll Ed-it. Welcome to Beechtalk! Great pics. Not too many first timers introduce themselves with pics. You are already one of the guys! Is that a Swiss flag on the ruddervator? Forgive me if that's a foolish question. Cheers!

Hi Ron
That's right it's a Swiss flag. G VTAL started life in Germany then exported to Swizerland. Shes been in the UK since 2003. I have all the logs and paper work form 1965 which is nice to have.
Thanx for the welcome. Regards Ed

I really like the tail number. Sorta defines the sexy girl.

As my friend Big Dunk says the V Tail Bonanza is like Ferrari Daytona of the sky, something special.

Welcome Edward. My dad has a 1966 V35 and has been in the family 40 years. Love your classic paint scheme. I have a soft spot for those colors and lines . . .

Please service your landing gear struts. Absolutely. Will help immensely with "tail squat". Search threads for tips and enjoy that beauty.

These pictures were taken when G VTAL was first delivered since then the landing gear has been refurbished, along with new prop (props in the uk have to be refurbished every 3 years then can not run on condition) new hoses, new mags, new tryes, new alternator, new regulator and a lot of elbow grease on the paint. A lot of money but worth it for such a loverly aircraft. I will post some more pictures soon.
