Hey BT!

I've been lurking here for a few weeks, and absorbing as much knowledge as I can. I figure I might as well introduce myself. I'm a student pilot with about 23 hours and I recently completed my first solo flight. It was a blast.

I don't own an airplane, so I can't post the lovely Bonanza pictures you all crave so much. Sorry. However, I do hope to buy a Beech soon. I'm looking at the Musketeer line for my first plane, to finish my PPL and put in a bunch more training hours with that license to learn. If I manage to snag one, I'll be sure and post pics ASAP.

Here's a blog post I just wrote about my solo:

Looking forward to lots of learning here on BT.

Great job David! I read your blog and it sure brings back memories (all good ones!). Its such an awesome feeling to know you can fly a plane without help from anyone!

Welcome David!

I may be the first person to say it but if you are looking at a baby Beechcraft then you should join Beech Aero Club! Great owners club with lots of good advice for the Skippers, Musketeers, Sundowners, Sierras and Duchesses. Best $50.00 you'll spend in aviation

Owned a Sundowner for almost 5 years. Nice plane, roomy, solid, easy to fly and solidly built.

Some great info on here, enjoy!!
