Good afternoon Beechcraft Owners.....I am the proud new owner of N8290E, a 93' A36 as of this past Monday. I bought it from a fantastic new friend, Mr. Van Gurley of South Bend, IN. It was the most pleasant pre-buy and purchase I have ever had ! Thanks again Van !!! The plane was formerly owned by Mr. Reg Cooper from this board. Reg posted up the fantastic link on his TKS install. Although I do not intend to fly in icing conditions, I am glad to have the system on board just in case... I'll be bringing the plane home to Texas this weekend and will begin the panel upgrades. Although well equipped, I plan on making a few changes so I may have some equipment that some of you may want, including: PS Engineering (PM3000) 4 Place Intercom, KX-165, KR-87 ADF, KT-70 Transponder, and possibly the GNS 430W if I go with the GTN 750. Can't wait to get her home !!! ps. I am in the process of selling my 78' Mooney M20J and will be delivering it for a pre-buy tomorrow a.m. My Authorized Mooney Mechanic was shocked I was selling but complimented me on the Bonanza purchase. He said it was an excellent airplane. Then he went on to ask me this question....."You know what the ABA's Motto is don't you?" I said no, what. "You can fly better....but you can't spend more ! " Ouch....

Hey Russell. Congrats on your A36! I use to have a Mooney (Ovation), and traded up to Beechcraft. NEVER, ever, looked back. You'll be very happy with the decision. We do expect current pic's...

And when are you going to change your profile to show the correct aircraft? Welcome, this is a great place to gain knowledge of your airplane. John
