Aircraft: Drifter
G'day from Oz

I fly an ultralight (Drifter) from a private airfield near Boonah, South East Queensland

I guess you could call me an aviation tragic, it's been something I've been involved in all my life - skydiving, paragliding, hot air balloons, and now The Drifter

One thing I'm a big fan of is flight simulation for computers, I write the flightsim articles for two of the GA mags here in Oz

There are some wonderful Beechcraft aircraft available for FSX - in particular I've just written a review on the Turbine B60 Duke

Anyway, Hi from me, and I'd be interested in hearing from any flightsim fans on this forum

Cheers

Hi Dave
I am not a flight sim buff, but welcome from Adelaide. A friend of mine flys a Boorabee, similar to a drifter I think, he enjoys it immensely.
Welcome

hey Matthew - "a kind of sim nut" indeed

i just clicked on the link to your 747 simulator - that is one magnificent machine

not sure what your response will be to this request but I would dearly love to do a review on your 747 simulator for one of the mags, along the lines of "the ultimate in flight simulation"

if you'd like to discuss this in detail pls PM me

cheers for now

I'm silly this way.

I have an Aussie sister (now, Adelaide for 25 years or so), niece, nephew (he was known, among the young and fertile girls here in Dallas) as "Hot Australian Boy."

Really need to get down there again.

Actually, it's the Kiwis who talk funny - lik ethey have a mouth full of round pebbles. :D

firstly, g'day to John, Oz man in the good old U S of A !

second, thanks Matt for the PM, will get onto that email

and hey Spike you gotta get over here (sorry about the Aussie dollar m8)
i owe a lot of Aussie hospitality to any yank that turns up on Aussie soil
my nephew just got back from a trip to the States
it was supposed to be a month, but he received so much fabulous hospitality that he ended up being over there for almost 3 months
said he had to get home because he was getting "too fat" -
lotsa real good tucker in the US he reckons !!!

cheers m8 and g'day to anyone i've missed

B58 jockeys might be interested in this...

http://www.carenado.com/CarSite/Portal/ ... &correl=57

Carenado has a very good name in the flight simulation industry so this being a 2011 release, it will be state of the art

cheers
