Hello everyone, I currently own 1974 Mooney M20 F. It is a great airplane and has served my missions well. I completed my instrument rating earlier this year and have about 265 hours total time. My family expanded in the fall bringing our family total to 2 adults, two kids, and two dogs. Our typical trips are 200-500nm for pleasure. I think we can squeeze into the Mooney for another year or so, but would like to get into something with six seats. I doubt we will ever have more than 4 or 5 people and possibly a dog, but the extra room for bags will be nice. The A36 is at the top of my list and I hope to get some information and insight from current owners on this site. Thank you --- Patrick N621LT (KDAY)

Thank you --- Patrick N621LT (KDAY) Patrick, As a fairly new owner of an A36, I thought I would share my thoughts with you. My family outgrew a Piper Archer and I researched 6 seaters extensively. I chose A36 for many reasons but ultimate it came down to our ability to travel with our children (2 sons and 2 daughters). They used to be cute and small; now they are cute and tall, ranging in height from 5'10" to 6'2". My useful load is over 1300 lbs which is more than I really need 99% of the time. My trade off was that I I don't have AC and the airframe is older (1980). You can not go wrong with the A36! In my opinion, there is no better plane for the price range.
