Welcome aboard, Mark! I'm sure you'll find lots of great info here on BeechTalk. And by the looks of your intro, you probably have some good stories and info to pass along. Do us a favor and let us know where you're located, preferably in your avatar, that way it's always there. One of the great pleasures of this site if finding other kindred spirits in your local area and comparing notes on the ramp I can't wait to hear more stories. *edit* Oh, yeah: we need pics. It ain't real unless we get photographic evidence (AKA: Plane Porn)

Mark Streitz Welcome, Mark. A 1965 BE35 is an S model, which of course was the best airplane Beech ever built. There are many proud S model owners here. We'd love to see some pictures of yours.

Mark Streitz
So, what experimental category is that, not homebuilt, eh? And how do you negotiate those limitations to extract utility from such a cool package?
