Hello All,

New to BeechTalk and learning a lot from everyone’s posts. Just purchased a 1998 A-36 with 1700 TT. Firewall forward overhaul and avionics upgrade in progress now. I am transitioning from a G1000 equipped turbo 182 and can’t wait to start the training process. Private SEL with instrument rating and around 250 TT. Any tips for someone just getting started would be appreciated. ( pictures to follow soon)

Welcome Scott
I spend a bit of time about one mile from you at KARW. You will be extremely pleased with you transisition. The 182 is a great machine but it's no Beechcraft. That have more meaning to you very soon. Welcome again.

Welcome to the board. As with any airplane, fly it "by the numbers" and it will show you what a fine airplane it is.

Welcome Scott! Go the the BPPP site and find an instructor near you for transition training. Then enroll in the first BPPP session that fits your schedule. You won't regret it!
